We have options for you to hold your own desk space or office, to create a virtual office or just use the meeting rooms. We also offer day passes where you can come in just for the days you need. No, there are no security bonds required at Platypus Coworking. We just need your contact details and you can Cowork with us as you need to.

Our office is considered secure, and we have a concierge on site most of the time. Our private offices are lockable, desks are open. You are welcome to use one of our complimentary lockers to keep your valuables secure while you pop out, and we encourage their use if you wish to leave things overnight.

Whilst there can be a bit of a hum from phone conversations and the tapping of keyboards, it is generally pretty quiet. We play some quiet background music, and people are spaced well apart. There are private zoom rooms and meeting rooms to pop into and breakout spaces for louder conversations. Because Coworkers understand Coworking we find they are understanding of not disturbing others.

We follow all of the Covid rules, updating our processes as required. Our office has never been cleaner as we wipe surfaces regularly, and clean daily. We don’t want any of our Coworkers to get sick, so we do everything we can to make sure that Platypus Coworking is clean and safe.

Our private offices and dedicated desk members have 24 hour access to Platypus Coworking. Day Pass workers can be here anytime between 9am and 5pm - we recommend you book in advance so we can guarantee your space.

You need to bring your working tools – computer, paper, pens, phone etc. One of the regular comments we get from our members is that they find that their motivation and productivity improves by working in a Coworking environment.

Yes! Because people are sharing resources and working from a shared office space, Coworking is great for the environment. Many people also now use Coworking spaces as a local hub instead of commuting to centralised office spaces, saving fuel and emissions. At Platypus Coworking we use environmentally friendly resources such as toilet paper and tissues and encourage recycling and composting. We are supporters of environmentally friendly initiatives such as Fifteen Trees and are always happy to discuss how we can do more.
